Return/Exchange Policy

If you are not satisfied with our products, please let us know. We follow a 30 day return policy that allows you 30 days after receiving your items to request a refund.

In order to qualify for a refund, we ask that you return the remainder of the item you have used, along with an explanation as to why you are dissatisfied. We will refund in full.

We use USPS for our deliveries.

Are all of the plants used grown locally?

Accepted Answer

We grow as many of the plants as we can in this 9A zone of Baton Rouge, LA.

We have organic gardens at both of our homes.

What we can't grow in Baton Rouge, we buy from a reliable source who is committed to organic plants and ethical farming practices.

Question 5

Why not buy commercial incense in bulk? It's cheaper, and you get more.

Accepted Answer

Cheaper incense bought in bulk does not burn as long as ours, nor does it permeate the air for a long- lasting fragrance like ours does. More importantly, the majority of mass-produced incense is laced with chemicals and perfumed oils.

Plants are not the primary ingredient, while in ours, plants are the only ingredient. Commercial incense is also made in factories with machines, usually at the expense of those working as cheap labor in often poor conditions (Google it to see for yourself).

Ours is made by hand in our apothecary.

What about the ethics of using White Sage?

We have grappled with this question at great lengths to ensure ethical farming—not wild harvesting of White Sage. Our supplier is committed to ethical farming and will not support the harvesting of wild sage that is so rampant in the U.S.

We understand the cultural sensitivity around this topic and are willing to pay more for farm raised.

Is everything handmade?

Yes. We roll the incense ourselves, stuff the tea bags by hand, and so on.

We also infuse prayers into our products with focused intention.

Herbal medicine is not "new age,” as some claim it to be. It is an ancient form of medicine that addresses the root cause of dis-ease.
